Koko Asuquo

Koko Asuquo is the Managing Partner of Koko Asuquo Chambers (KAC Legal) and a Nigerian legal practitioner with over a decade of post-qualification experience. His practice focuses on providing clear, commercially informed and practical legal solutions to individuals, businesses, investors and corporate organisations operating in Nigeria.

His experience spans commercial and corporate law, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, real estate and property transactions, corporate governance, employment matters, dispute management and legal advisory services. He regularly advises on commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on identifying legal and commercial risks and developing effective contractual protections.

A significant part of his practice involves the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements. His approach considers not only the legal terms of a transaction, but also how those terms will operate in practice, how risks should be allocated, and how a client's interests can be protected while keeping the transaction commercially workable.

Beyond private practice, he is committed to legal education and public understanding of the law through legal writing and initiatives such as his Know Your Rights Series, which seeks to make legal concepts more accessible to the public.
